Model, Actress, Dancer, and aspiring Entrepreneur, Meet Miss Black New Jersey USA 2012 Alicia Marie Blanks, an Event Coordinator for Georgian Court University where she is obtaining her BA in the fine arts.
Dancing is a vital part of Alicia’s life, starting at the age of three, she has studied various forms of dance from Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, and Tap.

Modeling is also an important part of Alicia’s life, she has appeared in numerous commercials for companies such as Nickelodeon, Verizon, and Burlington Coat Factory.  Alicia has also done a national print ad for Sprite with Lebron James. 

Alicia has also participated in numerous pageant systems such as Teen USA, National American Miss, and America’s Outstanding Teen. Alicia is glad to be a part of the Miss Black USA family, carrying the title of as Miss Black New Jersey 2012 will surely be a treat to network with other pageant systems and promote Miss Black USA. Alicia feels strongly about the environment and wishes everyone would do his or her part in keeping it safe.  However, during her reign she plans to broaden the minds of young children through her platform.
