Miss Black USA also promotes a Princess Program for girls ages 5-10! The Princess Program was developed in response to Disney's historical development of the First Black Princess, Tiana. This program encourages our little princesses to be beautiful on the inside and out, while pursuing their dreams.
Requirements
Becoming a princess is a process. She must not only expect to receive a crown, she must be willing to give her very best to receive it:
- Each Princess must agree to improve her school or local community by doing a community service project.
- Each Princess must have exemplary grades and behavior in school.
- Each Princess must support the Miss Black New Jersey Scholarship Fund by selling ads and tickets towards the event.
- Each Princess must agree to make her scheduled appearances on time an dressed appropriately.

New Jersey Head Princess Award
- The New Jersey Head Princess will receive a National Princess Program Sponsorship from the Miss Black New Jersey Organization to participate at the National competition!
- Head Princess Award Recipient will receive $500
- She will also receive a Princess Party for a group of her friends!
- The winner of the New Jersey Head Princess Award will be a leader in supporting the Miss Black New Jersey Organization through raising funds for the scholarship, actively participating in community service, and overall being a nice young lady inside and out.
- The winner will be chosen based on her fundraising participation, votes by her peers and scores from preliminary judges in a personal interview, but will be announced on the night of the pageant.

- A Parent or Guardian must be available to fill out the application!
- Application is FREE.
- If selected as one of the Miss Black New Jersey Princesses please be prepared to pay a $275 Pageant Entry Fee to cover a portion of the benefits listed.
