Fedlene would like to use her title as Teen Miss Black New Jersey 2010 to help foster a sense of independence in other young girls. When she is older, she would like to pursue a career in Pediatric Nursing and continue her music career.
 
Fedlene is a singer/song writer that also plays the piano. She sings Opera, Classical, Gospel, Jazz, R&B. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, National Society of High School Honors, Tri Music Honor Society, National Youth leadership Forum of Medicine, Rutgers Reach Program. She also made it to the final round of Newark Illustrated idol and Trans Atlantic Idol.
